This is a superb collection written by Sandra T. Adeyeye. WOMAN is a different and stylish collection of poetry gathered overtime from the experiences of different women. It is a compilation of the challenges and joys of a contemporary African woman in a chauvinistic world but not an attempt at creating another book on feminism.
I celebrate women who dare to dream and achieve those dreams like Isabel Dos Santos, Oprah Winfrey, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Beyonce Knowles-Carter, Serena Williams, Mo Abudu, Folorunsho Alakija, Hajia Bola Shagaya, Ngina Kenyatta etc.
WOMAN vs MAN

This collection features the good, best, bad and the worst moments, thoughts, feelings, opinions and approaches that have existed between both genders for ages but it is not an attempt at stirring or fueling any war or bias between genders. Our aim is to accept the already existing divide and create a working equilibrium for the society.

DUE THIS APRIL
“Promise to man is promise to gods; betrayal to man is betrayal gods!” so be warned!
Like every mortal, Olurombi desires to live, love and to make choices; but, the gods say NO! Her life is already negotiated for a price and she cannot live unless she pays the price.
The play “Olurombi” unravels the struggle to live, to escape the inevitable and man’s effort to live in contravention with the fate stipulated and negotiated for him under the monitoring and close watch of an all-seeing-eyes; but, the gods must be just.
Only for the hypocrites, those who promise occasionally, the unrepentant and unprecedented betrayers; for our consistent and wanton gullibility, ours would have been a haven that outreaches the touch of pain, tears, sorrow and of want.
Be warned! the gods though unstirred are on constant watch. Pledges made out of deceit will surely be paid; circumstantial errors of deceit has at its trail a wind of troubles.
